I can fully recommend Richard's photography. Having always been aware of the value of a good photograph, and after some diligent research, I booked myself a photo session with Richard's Photography. I must admit to being rather apprehensive on the journey to the shoot, but I needn't have been. Richard's obvious professionalism, long association, and support of the transgender community put me at ease from the moment I arrived. At no time did I feel rushed or stressed; in fact, the opposite was true. Richard knew how to pose me to make me appear more femme. I felt like a million dollars, like a real model on a fashion shoot. And this feeling lasted several days after the shoot. I should also mention the aftercare included in the package: this was wonderful and a testament to Richards's patience with somebody as fussy as me. But be warned; it's addictive; I'm already planning my next shoot!
A photoshoot with Richard is a very special experience that is enjoyable and fun. We planned a photoshoot with numerous outfits taken in different rooms of his beautiful house. Richard’s fabulous skills and imagination created great poses and special pictures which I will treasure. The whole day was friendly, relaxed, not rushed and I simply felt wonderful throughout.
Aside from the stunning pictures you end up with. You also feel like a model as he explains the shots and directs you with the poses. With the professional lighting and beautiful settings, it feels more like an experience day than simply getting pictures done. The photoshoot I had with Richard remains one of the highlights of my transgender journey.

Who is Richard?
Richard has photographed several transgender clients and members of the fetish community; almost all his clients return for second, sometimes third or more photoshoots. He has taken photos at trans-events, including TransRadio UK balls, Magic Theatre and Transliving weekends.

Richard is pictured with one of his best friends, Kirsty, a full-time transwoman, at a '40s night. Richard was the best man at her wedding to another trans-friend, Elfen in August 2022.
Your Choice of Photos
What sort of photos do you want? We're very happy to take pictures in front of a screen (Richard has several colours).
If you choose to come to Richard's studio, various locations around the house offer superb opportunities for photos with excellent backgrounds. There's a large kitchen-diner-living area, a large lounge (complete with a piano) and a luxurious ensuite bedroom. Outside is a large patio, a smaller one, and a well-kept garden. Behind the garden is a large orchard with a view across the North Downs.
The Local Area
If you are confident, why not consider some photos taken in surrounding areas? Richard's house is located in a rural area surrounded by farmland. The historic village of Wrotham and the commuter town of Sevenoaks are nearby and offer wonderful photography opportunities.

How it Works
Two-hour Photoshoot
I have had two photoshoots with Richard. As a trans girl, I have been most impressed with his experience photographing our community. He comes up with great ideas for backgrounds and props that are appropriate to the images. He has the added advantage of working in the trans-world for many years and knowing how to make us look as convincing as possible. Attention to detail is so important, as is seen in many of the composites in my portfolio.
How a FREE Photoshoot Works
| 1. I can be selective regarding my choice of model; as I won’t require a deposit for a FREE photoshoot, I need to be assured that you are genuine and will turn up at the agreed place and time. (If I don’t know you, I may ask for a deposit, which will be refunded when you come to a shoot.) |
| 2. I can host at my house/studio or come to you or a neutral venue. |
| 3. I am happy to take fully clothed, boudoir/lingerie, fetish clothing and tasteful nude photographs. However, I do not take sexually graphic images. |
| 4. I no longer supply a makeup artist (as this requires payment); if you need assistance with makeup, I suggest you arrange a makeover before the shoot (I may be able to assist). |
| 5. I won’t be employing an assistant (as this is a paid extra), so there’ll be delays while equipment I moved, adjusted and set up or taken down. I may ask you to help with this. |
| 6. I may ask the model to help set up for the photo shoot and to take down, pack away and possibly clean after the shoot. |
| 7. Photos cannot be used for commercial purposes. |
| 8. The photos are supplied unbranded; however, it would be appreciated if a test was included to credit Richard’s Photography when using the photos. |
| 9. I ask that the model meets all expenses involved in the shoot; therefore, I expect that they cover my travel expenses, location hire (for example, hotel room or dungeon) and any equipment hire that is part of the shoot (such as props). |
| 10. The shoot is FREE, so there is no requirement to pay me for my time; however, contributions towards the costs are welcomed to help with my ongoing costs such as insurance, software subscriptions and equipment maintenance, |
| 11. The client may pick up to twenty images from each shoot. These are then processed to a professional standard. |
| 12. Photos are typically ready about 2-4 weeks after they are selected and can be downloaded from a password-protected area of my website. |
| 13. Extras such as prints, framed photographs and canvases are not included in the FREE offer but are available to purchase at favourable rates. |
Richard, a professional photographer, did a bit of a shoot for us girls. I must say he was great. Very respectful and not tactile unless permitted to do so. It felt wonderful to be fully made up in front of the camera. I felt almost like a proper glamour model.
