• I will cease running events with immediate effect.
• I will cease doing photography at events for other organisations or individuals.
• I will continue to do photoshoots for transgender men and women (including crossdressers) and other members of the LGBT community on an individual basis, subject to the following criteria:
  • The model must be willing to let me use the images with no restrictions.
  • Model agrees to be willing to have images taken to build my portfolio and assist in my professional development (so there is an understanding that at least some of the photos from each shoot will be directed according to what works for me as much as for the model).
  • A compatibility check to confirm that the model is the right fit for what I'm now doing.
• I will cease all website work for other companies/individuals.

• Time constraints: with needing to spend more time looking after relatives and undertake household chores, there is no longer the time available to run events or assist others with their events or website needs.
• To re-address the focus back onto professional development to gain qualifications.
• Although many people in the trans-community have been grateful and appreciative, a small minority have undermined my enjoyment of running events or assisting others; this includes hate crime and bullying and being messed around by other groups, including breaking agreements (which is unfair when giving time voluntarily).
• The financial climate means my costs of running events and doing photography free of charge have increased at the same time that my income from other sources has decreased.
• Insurance requirements are becoming more exacting and disproportionate to running activities on a not-for-profit basis.
• Unfortunately, some people have caused damage to my house; accidents happen, but a few individuals have chosen to try and conceal the damage rather than being honest.
• My mental health and physical well-being: with other demands on my time, being subject to hate and bullying and increased financial constraints, I need to step back for my personal well-being.

Some people have asked if I shall still be around. I will continue to meet up socially, but my availability will be reduced, so expect to see less of me.
